AI use case library · 144 use cases · Service businesses
The full AI use case library.
144 use cases that produce real returns for established service businesses. Filter to your goal, your vertical, your starting point.
This is the deep version of the AI use cases page. If you arrived here knowing your goal, use the filters. If you’re not sure what you’re looking for, start with the bucket that sounds most like you, filter to your vertical, and look at the use cases tagged ⭐ or 💰 first. Those are the ones most owners start with, and the ones that tend to produce the largest returns.
The library is curated. We have left out generic ChatGPT prompts you can find anywhere, and use cases that depend on tooling we don’t yet trust to deliver consistent results. What’s here works in real businesses. The numbers are honest. The effort estimates are honest. The tags are honest.
How to read this library
The six filters
- Goal. Three options: more leads, convert more leads, do more with the same team.
- Vertical. Universal, professional services, health and wellness, or real estate. Universal use cases always show alongside vertical-specific ones.
- Sub-outcome. The functional category. Twelve options, from lead generation to hiring.
- Effort. Light (off-the-shelf, days). Moderate (workflow redesign, weeks). Heavier (integration plus process change, months).
- Tags. ⭐ for the most common starting points. 💰 for the highest typical ROI. Most use cases have neither.
- Search. Free text across titles and descriptions.
Two starting recipes
- “I’m new to AI. Show me where to start.” Filter to your vertical, filter to Light effort, filter to ⭐. You’ll see roughly 6-10 use cases. Pick two.
- “I want the biggest wins, not the easiest ones.” Filter to your vertical, filter to 💰. You’ll see roughly 10-15 use cases. The right two will pay back in a quarter.
No use cases match those filters.
Try removing one filter, or book a fit call and we’ll talk through what you actually need. AI for your specific situation may not be in this library yet.
144 use cases. You only need two or three.
This library exists so you can see what’s possible. It does not exist so you can deploy all of it. The owners who get returns from AI pick the two or three use cases that match their specific business, deploy those properly, and ignore the rest until those are working.
Picking the right two or three is the part most firms get wrong. It is also the part we are good at.
If you want to talk through which two or three apply to your business, book a free fit call. Thirty minutes. No pitch. If AI is not the right next move for your business, we will tell you that too.
30 minutes. No pitch. We’ll talk through which two or three use cases will pay back fastest.
Free 12-minute self-serve diagnostic. Tells you in dollars what manual processes are costing your business each year.
What we’ve left out, and why.
We have left out four categories deliberately.
Generic ChatGPT prompts
Any owner can do these for themselves with no help. They are real, they just are not what a service business pays a consultant for.
Use cases that depend on tooling we do not yet trust
Voice cloning for outbound, fully autonomous AI sales reps, and AI-generated video at scale are real categories with real limitations. We will add them when the tooling catches up.
Compliance theater
AI-driven “bias detection” in hiring, AI-driven “wellness monitoring” of employees, and similar use cases that look good in board reports but do not produce measurable returns.
Industry-specific use cases for industries outside our three ICP verticals
Manufacturing scheduling, e-commerce returns automation, hospitality dynamic pricing. All real, none our focus.
If a prospect asks about something not in this library, the honest answer is: that use case exists, we have not deployed it ourselves, and we are not the right firm to advise on it.
